"Vary mora" Retailers prefer to sell their own products, first

The "vary mora" not yet attracting a number of retailers still have a stock of rice more or less and await the exhaustion of it before of rice supplies at discounted prices.

The primary beneficiaries of the rice imported from Burma by the State and sold to Ar 900 kg, have begun to buy from the outlets. But what is the capital, this product is not yet sufficiently widespread throughout the city.

Indeed, this rice called "vary mora" is still quite difficult to find in some areas where retailers are not so enthusiastic about the idea of selling this product, their stock has not yet expired. "We sell rice to Ar 1 700 kg, for the type 'Makalioka' and sell Vary mora Ar 900 does not suit us at all to the extent that customers will inevitably rueront on it, our stocks and we remain on our hands. " Thus, these retailers prefer to sell their own stocks first before turning to "vary mora." Remember that it bought at 860 per kilo Ar by retailers, allowing them to make a profit of 40 Ar per kilo of rice sold (Ie sell a ton of rice for a margin of 40,000 Ar).

Until the "vary mora" is widely available from many retailers, consumers still continue to buy rice in Ar or Ar 1 600 1700, unable to find anything better. A report on the 20 000 tonnes of rice imported by the state, 5,000 tons will go to people in the south of the Big Island. Other regions are beginning to be resupplied, like Antsirabe where 95 tons of "vary mora" have just been delivered.
