Painting the boat took a lot of time it took to clean old wood and protect the party with a new paint microporosa. I decided that Freedom should find the original color (or almost) and scraping the different layers it was found that it was blue so it is acquired: the final layers in blue monastrial.
After it came to choosing the paint color I chose pure anti vegetative light gray very beautiful and very expensive, but the result is rewarding.
Daniel, a friend lent us his beautiful hangar, protected from rain for finish the job (thank you Daniel). The floor of Liberty was built with plywood rather ugly and in poor condition, the bars of support were not the same level, Vince had other things to do and I threw myself into the work of tile, a lot of rencontrand problems also in my inexperience.
The first operation was to install the panels to check the level, then I have everything apart to double four bars. The three central blades should be mobile in order to inspect the hold. A full day to decide how and to run.
The laying of lateral plates was also difficult because of the cuts that had to do to adapt the floor to ribs, cables, pipes, pumps etc.. In short, I broke my back and knees but Freedom to its floor and I think it is not so bad!
Meanwhile Jo Carpenter Squiban kindly to build the cover for the engine, an essential condition for the launching. I realize from not having photographed, I will address ......( to follow)
